I'm Cheryl Hines, creator of Sophie'sTime.com - a safe place to talk about big changes. EPIC changes! Like divorce after 40 years of marriage. Like leaving the church of your former world view. Like an empty nest after raising nine children.

Big enough?

Going forward I will unpack my story as it applies to the context of the topic. I have hopes this will be a place where ladies like myself will find advice, encouragement and hope.

We'll tackle divorce and all it's messiness.

We'll tackle stepping into a new life later in life.

We'll dig into those sad feelings when you launch the last of your kiddos into the big world.

Who the heck is Sophie?? 

Sophie is my alter ego. They are my wiser, higher self. Sophie has been there for me through thick and thin. It is the nickname for Sophia which is the Greek word for wisdom!! So, this is Wisdom's time. Well, isn't it? Life has taught us - is teaching us. It truly is wisdom's time.
